I know I've been scarce lately. I've been consumed with helping plan my church festival, planning my daughter's birthday party and participating in the Scrap Idol contest at SUN. But that's all over, except the SUN contest, which ends tomorrow. So I'll soon be back to normal -- or as close to it as I've ever been :) But I wanted to share this great deal with you:
Bianca of ProjectB is going crazy, don't know what it is, maybe the rainy weather, maybe raging hormones, who knows. The fact is: She just put all her kits (except collabs) on $1 at Scrapable, for Wipe Out Wednesday!!
And if that's not cheap enough for you, we have a freebie quickpage blog train for her newest kit, Kinda Fallish (also $1 at Scrapable). It starts on her blog.
All ProjectB kits $1 - today only!

Tooting my own horn -- LOTD
My grandfather layout in the post below was named layout of the day at Scrapable for today! I'm super excited. It's my first such honor!
I almost didn't even make this page. I'm not big on one-photo layouts and I didn't think this photo was super spectacular. But Scrapable had a template challenge that went well with an Inspiration Lane "by the numbers" challenge. And this photo just "fit" for both. Plus the hubby came up behind me when I was pondering the picture and said "aww, that's my daddy" so I went for it.

Freebie wordart: Grandfather's gold heart
I needed some word art for a LO and didn't want to pay for it because I'm cheap like that. So I made my own and I'm sharing it with you.
You can download it here.
And here's the page I made with it, using In a Boy's Pocket and Everyday Treasures, both available at Scrapable, and a freebie template (made for a Scrapable challenge) by Genia Beana Scraps.

Fun stuff that I can't use yet :(
I just bought this fun bundle by Misty Cato. The arrows and date bits caught my eye. And buying them separately was the same price as the whole bundle. Too bad my new computer (bought thanks to a coffee accident) doesn't yet have Photoshop. Yes, I'm having some serious withdrawal symptoms. :P
